On February 22, in the area of Venegono in Lombardy, Italy, a meeting titled “Armenia 3000 Years of History and Culture” was organized, with the participation of Prof. Aldo Ferrari from the University of Venice, Pietro Kuciukian, Honorary Consul of Armenia in Italy, and Agopik Manoukian from the University of Trento.
Around 100-150 people, members of the Armenian community in Lombardy, as well as citizens from the Venegono area, were invited and attended the meeting.
Also invited and participating in the meeting was the Honorary Consul of Armenia in Albania, Varuzhan Piranjani, as well as the author of many books on Armenia and Armenians, Berzh Piranjani.
This meeting, in addition to the valuable knowledge shared through the three distinguished speakers, also laid the foundation for collaboration between the Armenian communities in Italy and Albania, as well as an exchange of experiences between the honorary consuls of Armenia in these two countries.
